Bad Company 2 on Steam not launching after adding project rome dll

Hi,
I hope someone has had this problem before and can point me to the resolution to the problem.
I have Bad Company 2 install through Steam, and the game will launch without problems without the Project rome dll. As soon as I add the project rome dll to the game directory, and press play on Steam, then Steam does not start the game and the button on Steam switches back to as if I did not start the game.

Hope someone can help.

And you unzipped the driver in the folder correctly? Mine worked just fine doing this. Go in and delete the VU download driver that you put in, and download it again and unzip it to the correct folder again where they tell you. Maybe something happened in transit last time. Hope it works for you, my issue is a bit different. See you in game…
