Tactical Freelook


I have managed to tape together a proof of concept independent head movement mechanic like seen in Arma games. Code is mostly copied from third-person in VEXT-Samples.

There are a couple of issues before this is useful and I have a trouble figuring out how to confront them.

  1. Is it possible hide player’s head or modify near clip distance for a camera?
  2. Can I “skip” the view model animation that is triggered when switching back to original camera?
