Which folder exactly to extract dinput8.dll to?

windows 11 new computer, on my old windows 10 computer I log in and play multiplayer no problem, how do I setup my new one?

You can download the file here: dinput8.dll free download | DLL‑files.com

Once downloaded, extract the file, then copy it and paste it into: C:\Windows\System32
If that file already exist, copy the file as a backup and place it somewhere save so in case something else stops working, you still have the backup file.
