Venice Unleashed Ranked Server

Hi Everyone,

There is no rank system currently showing in Venice Unleashed when I am hosting my private local server to play with bots. There is no rank sign beside the players and no DogTag shows up, no Ribbons show up, nothing. Even after, end of every match, it only shows Scoreboard and Stats. The Assignment, Unlocks, Awards etc tabs are not even showing.

There is a server startup param “vars.ranked“. I tried to add it in my Startup.txt as the first line “vars.ranked true“. But still noting happened.

Is it by default the all the servers are unranked and these is no way to make it ranked servers ?

I am tinking to contribute in the vu-progression mod GitHub - thysw95/vu-progression: A progression mod for venice unleashed · GitHub.

But until and unless those graphics element like Ribbon, Unlock does not show during gameplay, and no Assignment, Unlocks, Awards tabs after match ends, I have no hope to contribute in that progression project.

Please help me here if anyone tried to make the server as ranked and make those UI elements (Ribbon, Rank etc) to appear in gameplay.

There is no ranking and no unlocks in Venice Unleashed. This is the reason why our clan decided to not host it years ago. The VU page does state this so you must have missed this fact somehow. FYI the ROME project kept ranking and accounts though for BBC2. Cheers.

Later after re-reading your post I realized you’re trying to get ranked to work which it never will stock, and asking about the MOD that adds progressions. It’s not an official VU thing. maybe go to their forums over at thysw95’s page or whatever and ask them for help
