Thanks, I figured out just using the switch seat key was swapping me to the next available empty seat, but using the keys for a specific seat works

Thanks, I managed to figure it out in the end I was wondering as well if there is maybe a way to get bots in vehicles to drop aggro if they lose line of sight to their target for a certain amount of time? When driving a tank or LAV the bot manning the LMG turret will shoot constantly at walls and enemy bots in vehicles seem to never drop aggro until killed or they kill their target, and will also shoot indefinitely at walls/terrain if there is anything in the way of their target.
The mod is fantastic though, and has been a brilliant way to experience BF3 again!

You can tell them to do so by using the bot-command-key.
What version are you using? This (the permanent shoooting) should not be the case anymore in the 2.6.1. But maybe there is still a bug in there…
I was using 2.6.0, will update to 2.6.1 now how do I use the dev version of VU as advised?

Noticed bots don’t use Jeeps,jets,gunships,amtraks, and certain helicopters. Will this ever be improved?
i hoping this too… also can we have atlease 1 map with air superiority? it would be awesome
The jeep in Damavand Peak is actually pretty vital to win in rush.
Some maps actually have working jeeps, and jets. Amtraks technically work but they don’t use them right. So far the bots don’t use artillery and gunships exclusively and some maps they don’t use vehicles at all.
Yo this mod is awesome, I can’t thank you enough for making Bots for BF3! I’m honestly not very good at PvP games but I’ve always enjoyed playing them against Bot opponents, and it sucks that none of the BF games after 2 (aside from 2042) have official Bot support
Sorry if I come off as an “armchair modder” here, but I don’t suppose there is a way you or someone else could eventually port this work into some of the other BF games, like 4, 1, maybe even BC2? Thank you again, king

@5persondude BF4 is getting a similar mod to Venice Unleashed, called Warsaw Revamped. Development on it is EXTREMELY slow since it’s only a couple of people(like 2) developing it, but it it supposed to have bot support out of the box. Google it.
Also, this mod is still quite unstable, and your server will crash often when using.
Does anyone know if you can rent a VU server with just 2 slots (for 2 human players) but still play with a lot of bots or do you need a slot per bot?

Is fun-bots compatible with the scavenger gamemode? If not, are you guys planning on adding capabilities for scavenger? It looks very fun and i dont want to buy this one dlc, if it isnt compatible
Just install the mod and have a great time with bots
the only problem is when I tried to open the setting menu by F12 it just unlock my mouse and the menu does not open, and I can’t lock my mouse again to play
So, I have an issue with the mod where the server crashes at the end of the match when multiple maps are selected. I saw in the replies that Joe91 is working on that due to an update changing something, but that was back in July of last year. Safe to say that issue is still present, and I wanna know if there’s anything I can do about it.

I have that problem too. I think this mod is dead though.
How add bot on SinglePlayer maps? They don’t spawn…
I switched to one of the Dev versions. Server has been able to run for 12 hours now without any crashes.
